Lilly June Moomau June 30, 2025
Lilly June Moomau, 10, of Somerset, Virginia, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at UVA Hospital.
Born on January 9, 2015, at UVA Hospital, she was the daughter of Mickey and Stephanie Moomau.
Lilly was a kind, caring, thoughtful girl. She introduced herself as “very kind, and a little sassy”. She loved animals and had a special way with them. She loved to read, talk to everyone, draw, and play outside with her older brother, Logan. Lilly had the most beautiful blue eyes. She was very excited to be baptized May 25th, at Orange Baptist Church.
Lilly is survived by her parents, Mickey and Stephanie Lee Ann Moomau; her grandparents, Diana and Mark O’Connell, and Doug and Teresa Waltz; her brothers, Logan Moomau and Gabriel Reynolds (Tyonna); and her sister, Hunnie Reynolds. She is also survived by her aunts, Jessica Reynolds, Brooke Downey (Seth), Rebekah O’Connell, and Jordan Frye (Dave); her uncles, Ethan O’Connell, Jared Wilson, David Waltz, and Hunter Waltz (Crystal); and her cousins, Kole Waltz and Luke Frye.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 11, at Orange Baptist Church.
