Della Lee Cave Conley-Johnson
Della Lee Conley-Johnson, 74 of Stanardsville, Va. passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at her home. She was born on August 24, 1950 to the late Walter Cave and Gertie Cave. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Randolph Conley; a brother, Hubert Cave and sisters, Helen Stanley and Eunice Weaver.
Della loved the outdoors, mowing and tending to her garden were her passions. After work, she loved to sing while her husband played the guitar.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Earl Johnson; daughter, Regina Dodd and her husband Paul; brothers, Leonard Cave, Arthur Cave, Welford Cave, Dewey Cave; sisters, Doris Campbell and Lois Hurt; grandchildren, Matthew “Blake” Shifflett, Marisa Dodd; great-grandchild, Mason Shifflett.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, Va. with Pastor Richard Wright officiating.
