Elizabeth Estelle Collier
Elizabeth Estelle Collier passed away on May 31, 2025, in Clarksville, Tennessee. Born on April 5, 1948, in Charlottesville Virginia, Elizabeth was affectionately known as “Liz” to her friends and “Sissy” by close family.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Donnie Lee Collier, her parents Mary E. and George “Buck” Morris, her brother George Junior Morris, and twin grandsons.
She is survived by her children, Shelia (Keith) Bourne, Kevin (Cortney) Collier, and Sheri (Jonathan) Davis. She leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Timothy (Stacey) Lamb, Heather Lamb, Elaine Collier, Aiden Collier, Clara Davis, Cole Davis, Hutchison Collier, Whitley Collier, and Estelle Collier. Her great-grandchildren include Brayden, Jackson, Peyton, and Ashton Lamb. She is also survived by beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She found immense joy in spending time with her children and their families, considering these moments the highlights of her life. She also treasured the time spent with her cousins and close friends in both Virginia and Tennessee.
Humble by nature, Elizabeth never sought to be the center of attention. She made an impact on all around her with quiet kindness, endless love, and always putting others first. Her dedication to God and her unwavering faith guided her every day. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will stay with us forever.
The family will receive friends at Preddy’s Funeral Home in Madison, Virginia, Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Preddy’s Funeral Home on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00 am, followed by a graveside service at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, Virginia.
