Troy Allen Swan, 50, of Rixeyville, peacefully passed away Friday, April 1, 2022, surrounded by his wife and family. Born February 11, 1972, in Fredericksburg, he was the son of the late Jon Maurice Swan and Peggy Jane Brown.
Mr. Swan is survived by his wife, Carla Childress Swan, of Rixeyville; four children, Loren Swan, Dylan Wallace, Tyler Phillips, and Chase Swan; siblings Teresa Swan of Charlottesville, Donald Mills and wife Trish, of Amissville; adopted sister Terri Trevillian of Cartersville; stepbrother Ryan Brown, of Zions Crossroads; stepfather Kenny Brown, of Gordonsville; and his faithful companion Rebel. He also leaves behind numerous other family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews. He never met a stranger and was always the life of the party anywhere he went. His infectious smile and personality will be greatly missed by many.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday April 30, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville. A celebration of life event will be at Lake Anna State Park that evening following the service.
