He was born on June 12, 1961 in Endicott, NY and was the son of Patricia Cobb Edwards and the late Millard Edwards. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brothers David Edwards and Robert Edwards. 

    Patrick is survived by his wife of 38 years Laura Jo Edwards, and daughters Stephanie Robey (Daniel), Amy Amaral (Anthony), and Melissa Edwards; sons Christopher Edwards, Timothy Edwards, and Robert Edwards (Paige); sisters Theresa Walter (Daniel) and Sharon Cottrell (Scott); brother Michael Edwards (Nilsa); and grandchildren Jenna and Cooper Robey, Jacob Edwards, Landon and Cameron Swithenbank, Kaden and Lee Edwards, and Sophia Amaral. 

   He was an active member in his church’s Knights of Columbus organization. He loved the Outer Beaches of North Carolina, golfing, and spending time with his family. 

    A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at St. Jude's Catholic Church. 

    The family will receive friends the evening before from 6 to 8 pm. Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at the church.
