He is survived by his fiancee’ Lois Jean Conley; step-son, Michael Farish and wife Jessica Cook; brothers, Gary Meadows and wife Linda and Wilbert Meadows and wife Melinda; sister, Norma Pace and husband Tony; mother-in-law, Tessie Mae Conley; special grandsons, Mason Shifflett and Everette Shifflett; niece, Jessica Thomas and husband Andrew; nephews, Jeff Meadows and Dave Weakley; and great-niece, Rylee Thomas.

The family would like to thank the Greene County Rescue Squad for their helpfulness during the time James was sick.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
