Glorine Frances Weaver         August 22, 2025


Glorine Frances Weaver of Madison VA, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend, went home to be with the Lord, August 22, 2025, at the age of 88.

She was born on November 7, 1936, in Luray, to the late Rupert Williams Cave and Mabel Thompson Cave. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Weaver Sr; sisters Betty Jo Hopkins, Martha Lee Williams and Margrette Jasper; brothers Rupert, William, Lewis, Cletis and Cecil Cave.

She is survived by her three sons, Kenneth Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Madison, John and his wife Tonya of Madison, and Frederick (Maurice) and his wife Jennifer of Ruckersville; grandchildren, Kenneth Weaver III, Felicia Anderson, Damian Weaver, Brandon Brown, Alexis Brown, Tori Taylor, Frederick (Rick) Weaver, Mira Weaver, and Nathaniel (Nate) Weaver; brother-in-law, Benjamin Weaver, and brother-in-law, Michael Weaver, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Glorine lived a life marked by love, kindness, strength and a love for her church. She was devoted to her family and always placed them at the center of her life. Her love of cooking allowed her a long career, having started her culinary journey as a cook for the Madison County Public School. She then expanded her career as cook for Graves Mountain Lodge until her retirement.  

Funeral services will be held at Antioch Baptist Church, Madison VA on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 12:00 PM with a viewing preceding the service, beginning at 11:00 AM. Reverend Frank D. Lewis, Sr. officiating. Interment will be held at Gordon Beasley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Repass will be held in the Antioch Fellowship Hall.
