Wanda Mae Lamb May 8, 2025
Wanda Mae Lamb, 70 of Ruckersville, Va. passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at her home. She was born on May 22, 1954 to the late Douglas Glen Stevens and Dawn Isabella Wiley Harmon. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Shelly Lamb.
Wanda worked for the Greene County Public School System for 23 years and for Tiger Fuel for 26 years. She attended Park Street Baptist Church. Wanda enjoyed traveling, especially to Ocean City, Maryland, bird watching, gardening, games, going to movies and spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Roland Lamb; daughters, Julie Wayland ( Jay) and Rocio Lamb; son, Andrew Lamb (Brooke); brother, Douglas Stevens; sister, Dawn Michalak; grandchildren, Ashely, Emily, Andrew, Ava, Jasper; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Eloise and Daniel.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Preddy Funeral Chapel in Madison with interment at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, Va. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison.
Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
