He is survived by his mother, Matilda Lee Smith; wife, Kathleen Marie Stauffer Nissley; daughter, Andrea Kay Nissley Paradis and husband Trevor; sons, Keith Durrell Nissley and wife Caren, and Timothy Alan Nissley and wife Tanya; grandchildren, Sean and Mariah Hertzler, and Nicole, Connor, and Ella Nissley; brothers, Paul Nissley and wife Rhoda, John Nissley, and Steven Nissley; sisters, Linda Nissley, and Brenda Stoltzfus and husband John.

Tim owned Madison Buildings, and he learned to know many in the community from installing new storage buildings and moving used buildings. He engaged in various interests throughout his life, including hunting, boating and fishing, radio-controlled airplanes, basketball, tennis, golf, and motorcycles. Tim donated blood for many years with the American Red Cross. He was a member of Koinonia Christian Fellowship.

A funeral service will be held Monday, June 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Grove Mennonite Church in Aroda, Va. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 29, at 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
