William Thornton Timmons January 29, 2025

William Thornton Timmons, 77, of Mallorys Ford Road, Gordonsville, died on Wednesday, January 29. 2025, at the Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born on June 16, 1947 in Charlottesville and was the son of the late Wiliam Holladay Timmons and Beatrice Foster Jenkins.

He is survived by a daughter Lisa T. Shifflett and husband Aaron of Gordonsville; a son William Logan Timmons and wife Sarah of Gordonsville; four grandchildren Riley Dale Shifflett, Jackson Timmons, Laura Timmons, and Alexander Timmons; a sister Wanda Apperson of Louisa; and two brothers Anthony Jenkins of Fredericksburg and William Danny Timmons of Orange.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Graham Cemetery, Orange. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
