William Ben Burley, Sr., 76 of Stanardsville, Va. went to be with the Lord Friday, September 23, 2022 at his home. He was born on March 11, 1946 to the late Clarence Burley and Mary Agnes Brown Burley.

He was a retired brick mason.

He is survived by his wife, Lula Bessie Massie Burley; daughter, Terri Lynn Burley of Fairmont, WVa.; sons, William "Skip" Burley, Jr. and wife Julie of Orange, Va. and Darrick Lamont Burley of Mineral, Va; grandchildren, Ashley Pace and husband Joseph, Tyra Burley, Alex Burley, Jordon Burley, Jeremiah Corbitt; two great-grandchildren, Andre Pace and Dontrel Shelton.

A funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 721 Simmons Gap Road, Earlysville, Va. with Pastor Owen Johnson officiating. Preddy Funeral Home in Madison is in charge of arrangements.
