Wanda Carol Dobyns Anderson

Wanda Carol Dobyns Anderson, 70, of Aroda, departed this life on Monday, July 27, 2026, at her home. She now rejoices with her Lord and Savior. She was born on March 20, 1956, to the late Herman Linwood (Bill) Dobyns and Christine Ann Davis Dobyns.

Wanda retired from State Farm Insurance Company.

She will be remembered greatly by her great love for the Lord, family and friends, and also for her smile and laughter that would bring joy wherever she was, Her greatest desire in life was serving the Lord and sharing His love and gift of salvation with everyone she was around, that they also may know Him!

She is survived by her husband, Carl Graham Anderson, Jr.; and her son, Carl Graham Anderson, III; and her cousins Ronald Davis and wife Sherri, Nelson Davis and wife Ruth.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with interment in Madison Memorial Gardens. Pastors Mark Wilkes and Josh Shifflett will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
