Virgina Belle Blakey Styles

Virginia Belle Styles, 91 of Madison, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 at her home. She was born on December 27, 1932 to the late Willie Blakey and Daisy Belle Washington Blakey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Spotswood Arthur Styles, and son Marcus Styles.

Virginia retired as a cook from Madison County Public Schools and Graves Mountain Lodge.

She is survived by her sons, Heyward Blakey, Michael Styles, Maurice Styles, Sr., and Lawrence Styles; sister, Betty Ann Jones; grandchildren, Michelle, Serena, Maurice, Jr., Diamond, Cassadra, Sabrina; and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Frank D. Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Gordon-Beasley Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 11:00 to 12:00 at the church.
