Vilma Alvarado , 74, of Charlottesville, VA, passed away on March 20, 2026. Born on February 11, 1952, she was the daughter of Jose de la Cruz Euceda Alvarado and Ester Dubor Ortega.
Vilma is survived by her daughter, Vilma Patricia Cano Alvarado; sons, Javier Artonio Cano Alvarado, Darwin Joseph Paredes Alvarado; brothers, Oscar Rafael Ortega, Fermando Alvarado Dubor, Jorge Alberto Alvarado Dubor, Wilfredo Alvarado Dubor, Cruz Alberto Alvarado Ortega, Juan Angel Alvarado Ortega, Erlin Orlando Alvarado Ortega; sisters, Nora Cecilia Velasquez Dubon, Noemi Alvarado Dubon, Maria Amparo Alvarado Dubon, Miriam Janneth Alvarado Ortega, Leticia Yamileth Euceda Ortega; grandchildren, Stephanie Nicolle Rivera Cano, Jean Carlos Rivera Cano, Alexandra Patricia Hernandez Cano, Marcos Daniel Hernandez Cano and Jeremiah Paredes.
There will be a Funeral Service held, Saturday, April 4, 2026, 10 AM, at the Latter Day Saints Church, 2975 Hydraulic Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22901, with interment following the service at Riverview Cemetery.
The family is being assisted Preddy Funeral Home.
