Vernon Snow, Jr.

Vernon Snow Jr., 77 of Stanardsville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family & friends on November 25, 2023. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Lorene Snow and son Jacob Snow.

Vernon is survived by his daughter, Rachel Snow & (Mark) of Elkton Virginia son;  Adam Snow & wife Teresa, of Stanardsville Virginia ; four grandchildren, Savannah, Sierra, & Shaylyn & Cody Snow, and a special niece Betty Lou Snow Clayton.

Vernon Owned & operated Ridge Plumbing & Heating for 49 years! Dad had a strong faith in God & sweet sense of humor & showed Love to everyone!

The family would like to give a special Thank You to Mark for all of his help during the last several years helping take care of our Dad & to Jim & Terri Knight for the countless visits to brighten Dads day & to Dewey & Joyce Taylor for all you have done!

Visitation will be held at Preddy's Funeral home in Madison on December 1st, 2023 from 6-8pm & graveside service will be at the Stanardsville Cemetery on December 2nd, 2023 @ 2:00pm with Bro Frankie Chapman & Pastor Glen Shifflett officiating!

Pallbearers will be Mark Moore, Craig Shifflett, Onofrio Castiglia, Gary Walker,Jimmy Bennett & Jeff Garr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam Snow, Dewey Taylor, Wayne Wood, and Herbert Shifflett.

You are welcome to bring a chair for the graveside service!
