Timothy (Tim) Lee Clemons

Timothy Lee Clemons, 68, of Madison, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2026 after a brief illness.

He was born on June 4, 1958, in Kissimmee, Florida, to Nancy (Lee) Clemons and the late J.C. Clemons.

Timothy was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family deeply. He is survived by his wife, Julie, and their children, Sarah (Jordan) Peachey, Madison; Joshua (Fanita) Clemons, Madison; and Caleb (Dorcas) Clemons, Madison; and seven grandchildren, Liam, Zoe, Aidan, Mya, Tyree, Tre, and Kemper; his mother, Nancy Clemons; his sister, Terry Clemons; and his brother, Ted Clemons (Shawn).

Tim’s legacy is immense, and the hole his passing leaves feels insurmountable to everyone who knew him. He was very active in his community, serving as General Manager of Rapidan Service Authority and as Chairman of the Board for Mountain View Nursing Home. He also faithfully served his church family, blessing many with his leadership and his well-known sense of humor.

He will be remembered for his love for the Lord and for his family. Those who knew him benefitted often from his steady leadership, generous heart, and ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him.

He especially cherished time spent with family and friends, or simply reading a good book.

Visitations will be held on June 16 from 1-4 PM and 5-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on June 17 at 10 AM. All will be held at Oak Grove Mennonite Church, 563 Tom Johnston Rd, Aroda, Virginia, 22709, with burial following in the church cemetary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mountain View Nursing Home, honoring Tim's lifelong commitment to bettering his community.

Tim will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
