Thomas Curtis Berry

Thomas Curtis Berry, 91, of Etlan, Va., passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Dogwood Village in Orange, Va. He was born on August 17, 1934, to the late Benjamin Elisah Berry and Gracie Lillian Marks Berry. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Lee Berry, Kenneth Mack Berry, and Jack Marks; and grandson, Jason Dodson.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Murray Berry; daughter, Bonita Y. Berry and husband, Jack McKeen; son Benjamin O. Berry and wife Angela; sisters, Margaret Dunnivan and Lillian Mae Garr; grandchildren, Thomas Dodson (Kim), Benjamin Berry, II, Alan Michael Berry; great-grandchildren, Tucker Dodson, Stella Dodson, Lachlyn Dodson, Millie Dodson, Sully Dodson, and Eli Dodson.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with Pastor Jeff Tucker officiating. Interment will be in Etlan Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
