Sterlon Emanule Martin

Sterlon Emanule Martin 80 of Wolftown passed away on Thursday, December 4,
2025 in Charlottesville. He was born on December 15, 1944 in Charlottesville to the late
Sterling and Alice Gentry Martin. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Clarence
Martin, three sisters, Ernestine Wood, Peggy Cope and Alice Shiflett.

Sterlon is survived by the love of his life Mary Agnes Anderson of Wolftown, a
nephew, Bobby Shifflet and wife, Holly and their daughter, Allison of Amherst, VA, a
niece Sandra Mecham and husband, Barry and their son, Heath of North Carolina.
Sterlon was a U.S. Mail Carrier for 30 years and loved collecting racing
memorabilia and had an antique car he took to car shows.
He was the best bell ringer for Rapidan Baptist Church where he was a member.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025 at
Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison Conducted by Pastor Jeff Tucker with
interment in Riverview Cemetery in Charlottesville. The family will receive friends one
hour before the service on Monday at the funeral home.
