Shirley Rae Lacy Gooding, 79 of Pratts, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at The Harbor in Stanardsville, Va. She was born on June 2, 1942 to the late William Comer Edison Lacy and Reva Virgie Lohr Lacy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Edward Gooding, sister Virginia Duff, and a grandson, Cory Hall.
She is survived by a daughter, Sherie Lynn Bryant and husband William of Earlysville; son, Ronnie Neale Hall and wife Lisa of Madison; 3 grandchildren, Lacy Hoffman, Marion Bryant and Brian Hall; three great-grandchildren, Parker, Paisley and Levi Hoffman.
A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Walkers United Methodist Church Cemetery. Preddy Funeral Home in Madison is in charge of arrangements.
