Shirley Morris King

Shirley Morris King, 86, of Piedmont Street, Orange, died on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. Shirley was born on April 18, 1936 in Augusta County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late John Benjamin Morris and Mattie Virginia Sutton Morris. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons "G" and Ben Plumb.

Shirley is survived by three sons Levingston Wood Plumb of Fluvanna, John Walter Plumb of Somerset, and George William Plumb and wife Jane of Somerset; numerous grandchildren including Jake Plumb; and numerous great grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
