Sherman Ryan Garrett

Sherman Ryan Garrett, 80 of Orange, died Wednesday October 5, 2022 at Dogwood Village. Born July 10, 1942 in Charlottesville he was the son of the late James A. Garrett and Nellie Gray Ratcliff. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary A. Jenkins and two brothers, James A. Garrett, Jr. and William Edward Garrett.

Sherman is survived by two brothers, Robert A. Garrett and wife Peggy of Orange, Patrick O. Garrett of Tappahannock, one sister, Nancy Crumpler of Richmond and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 8, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville with interment to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
