Ruth Crawford

Ruth B. Crawford, 84, passed away on December 18, 2025, at Culpeper Hospital. She was born in Somerset, VA, to the late Cammie and Madie Brookman. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Bill Tuel, Cary Brookman, Cammie Brookman Jr., and his wife, Pauline; sisters, Mary Alice Brookman, Irene Breeden, and her husband Mike; and brother-in-law, Sheldon Harlow.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Lewis Crawford; her sister, Anna Harlow; daughter, Catherine Crawford, and her fiancé, Frank Doolittle; son, Alan Crawford, and his wife, Teresa; grandchild, Nicholas Crawford, and his girlfriend, Emily Dahl; sister-in-law, Frances Brookman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Graham Cemetery, 14191 Constitution Highway, Orange, VA, 22960.
