Ronnie Ellis Brown, 80, of Barbour Street, Orange, died on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.

Ronnie was born on April 21, 1945, in Charlottesville and was the son of the late George B. Brown and Rosa May Clatterbuck Brown. He is also predeceased by a grandson, Jordan A. Brown, and was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Mary Virginia Scott Brown of Orange; two daughters Tammy Jo Giles and husband James of Powder Springs, GA. and Tracy Dawn Brown of Orange; four grandchildren Jeramie Hayes, Riley Rooks, Julie Dedio, and Isabelle Rooks; four great grandchildren Jordan Brown, Scarlett Rooks, Matthew Snyder, and Sailor Rooks; and a sister Josephine Chapman of Charlottesville.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Preddy Funeral Chapel in Orange with interment to be held in the Graham Cemetery, Orange, with military honors. Pastor Pam Elderman will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street, Orange, Va. 22960.
