Roger Lee Brooks, Sr., 68 of Louisa, died Thursday March 23, 2023 at the University of Virginia Hospital. Born December 15, 1954 in Charlottesville, he was the son of the late Horace Raymond Brooks and Betty Jane Poindexter Brooks. Roger owned and operated Brooks Auto Repair in Louisa for many years.

He is survived by two daughters, Ginger Ann Brooks of Louisa, Samantha Brooks Koontz and husband Marshall of Scottsville, one son, Roger Lee Brooks, Jr. and wife Caroline of Palmyra, two brothers, Randall Brooks and wife Jenny, James Brooks and wife Marian, six grandchildren, Connor Richmond, Charlie Brooks, Caleb Koontz, Logan Koontz, Lia Koontz, Skyler Koontz and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday March 31, 2023 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville.
