Ray C. Gordon Jr.

Ray was born August 23, 1947. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Michael Ray; his father Ray C. Gordon, Sr.; his brother Daniel Gordon; and sisters Brenda Huffman and Sue Gordon. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Shirley; his mother, Essie Gordon; brothers William Gordon, Lewis Gordon, and Gary Gordon; and sisters Jane Talley and Cheryl Sims.

Ray was a heavy equipment operator most of his working life. Ray loved playing guitar and singing. He sang with many friends and did fundraisers for different churches and had a nursing home ministry for many years. He loved people and greeting at church and had a great love for his cats and dogs. He had many friends and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service in his honor will be held at New Life Community Church at a later date.
