Quint "Bill" William Woodward, 81 of Stanardsville, Va., passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at UVA Hospital. He was born on May 21, 1941 to the late Quint McKinley Woodward and Anna Belle Smith Woodward. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Violet Conley Woodward; son, Darrell Keith Woodward; and brother, Preston Harvey Woodward.
He was a master plumber for many years and retired from Liberty Fabrics in Gordonsville, Va. after 25 years of service.
He is survived by his daughters, Janice W. Shifflett and husband C.W., Sandra Faye Woodward; son, Gary Lee Woodward, all of Stanardsville, Va.; special niece, Dora Ann Sheler; grandchildren, Harry Lee Shifflett, Anna Nicole Shifflett; nephews, Norman Conley, Kenneth Conley, and Steve Conley; and great niece Abigail Sheler, and great-nephew Gavin Sheler.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 1, 2022 at First Bible Baptist Church with interment in Mt. Herman Mennonite Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the church. Pastor Josh Shifflett will officiate.
