Phillip Roger Geer, Sr.

Phillip Roger Geer, Sr., 79, of Culpeper, formally of Madison, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 in Culpeper. He was born on March 30, 1942 to the late Turner Ashby Geer and Joanna Clatterbuck Geer. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Geer Donahue and a son, Phillip Roger Geer, Jr.

He is survived by his former wife, Alice Fincham Geer; brothers, Michael Geer and wife Pam, Steven Geer and wife Melinda, Turner Geer and wife Nancy; sisters, Barbara Ann Hensley and husband Frank,  Sarah Jane Weakley and husband Frank, Wanda Geer, Phyllis Hensley and husband Gene of all Brightwood, Sandra Hitt of Rixeyville; grandchildren, Rebecca Donahue of Madison and Owen Donahue of Sterling, Va., Trevor Geer and wife Devon of Louisa and Ryan Geer of Timberville, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Ashby Gene Geer and Garrett Walker Geer.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison, Va.
