Noelle Mazerolle Bombardier Fell Jacobs passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at age 86, slipping away quietly as she always lived, hoping to spare her family worry.

Born on January 28, 1939, in Saint-Léonard, New Brunswick, to Levina and Fred Mazerolle, Noelle was one of six children and was predeceased by her parents and siblings Gerry, Joe, Lorn, Don, and Della.

Noelle married Jean-Luc Bombardier, and together they had one daughter, Brigitte Sandra, and a son, Marc-Anthony, who passed away at five days old. Her second marriage was to Ron Fell, with whom she shared over 30 years and their daughter, Danielle Jacqueline. She later married Tom Jacobs, who survives her. Aging and illness kept them apart near the end, but their love remained constant.

Noelle lived an adventurous and full life. Over the years she called many places home and worked in many roles — including modeling, legal secretary, and personal secretary to Ethel Kennedy — and she gave her time generously through volunteer work.

Creative at heart, Noelle loved cooking, drawing, painting, stained glass, music, and dancing. She often said singing wasn’t her greatest talent, but she sang with joy anyway, proudly saving a tape of herself belting out Sinatra’s “New York, New York” and “My Way.”

Noelle cherished her family and friends and faced many losses with resilience and grace. She stood firmly for what she believed was right and lived with a generous, open heart.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Tom; daughters Brigitte and Danielle; sons-in-law Dale Willingham and Todd Cole; grandchildren Ryan, Nathan, and Jonathan; and great-grandchild Nehemiah. She is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She desired to be cremated. A private celebration of life will be held in Jacksonville, FL, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity organization in her memory would be appreciated.
