Nancy Lee Tyler Johnson, 75 of Troy Virginia, was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on November 21, 2021. Born on June 10, 1946, in Albemarle County, she was the daughter of Floyd Mason Tyler Jr and Geneva Shifflett. She graduated from Albemarle High School in 1964 and worked in banking for over 20 years.

She was a member of Solid Rock Full Gospel Church. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, shopping, holidays, and a good Reece's peanut butter cup. She had a giving heart and was always genuinely kind, even to strangers. She was passionate about animals and children. You could always depend on her to bring the best sweet tea to every gathering.

She is survived by her son George A Sullivan, a grandson William Morris, a sister Dolores Morris, a nephew Bo Morris, great nieces Kaitlyn Morris and boyfriend Quinton Goode, Maddie Morris, great nephew Tyler Morris, and special niece Shawna Cochran. She is also survived by her extended family Bobby and Becky Morris, Meghan Blevins and her daughter Ashley. She is survived by her best friends Brenda Fielding and Janet Houchens, her cat Carrie and best dog friend Oliver. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Floyd Mason "Flappy" Tyler Jr (who called her Pee Wee) and Geneva Shifflett, and her son Gregory Holmes Payne .

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr Robert Goldstein, MD and his nurse Amy Crab, RN who lovingly cared for Nancy for many years. They also wish to extend thanks to Jaki Pritchett who helped care for Nancy towards the end of her time with us.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 30 th at Solid Rock Full Gospel Church at 3580 Spotswood Trail, Barboursville VA, 22923 . The visitation will be held from 12pm until 1pm with the service starting immediately to follow and internment at Holly Memorial Gardens. The service will be officiated by Pastor Larry Morris.
