Mildred Conrad

Mildred (Millie) A. Conrad, 77, of Orange, VA, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the University of Virginia Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born on July 13, 1947. Millie enjoyed many things, but her most enjoyment was spending time and talking to her family, her puppies, and her numerous friends. Millie never met a stranger. She embraced everybody with open arms. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence W. and Annie F. Weaver. She is survived by her sister, Wanda W. Jenkins, her nephew, Michael C. Jenkins and husband Mike, two special dogs, Snowball and Cocoa, her best friend, Joan Breeden, two special cousins, Faye Baker and Charlotte Gallihugh, and family friend Clarence Hawkins. Millie retired from BB & T Bank in Warrenton after many years of service. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family with arrangements. Inurnment will be at a later date. A celebration of life will be held in 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to ASPCA, the American Cancer Society, or the American Kidney Fund.
