Merelyn Dale Donahoo Moberg, 82 of Etlan, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at her home in Etlan. She was born on February 24, 1941 in Grenada, Ms. To the late Wilson and Bonnie Donahoo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger M. Moberg, Sr., brother, Jerry Donahoo and sister, Debbie Donahoo.

Merelyn was known by many as Granny Moberg. She was a member of F. T. Baptist Church. She loved her church and her church family very much, although she could not attend as much as she would have liked due to her health.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie M. Aylor and husband E. J. of Etlan, Kelly Moberg-Pepin and husband Bob of Berryville, Va., Roger (Bubba) Moberg, Jr. and wife Meg of Ashland, Va. and Mike Moberg of Etlan; siblings, Brenda & Wyliss Kemp of Pontotoc, Ms., Jimmy and Tina Donahoo of Belzoni, Ms.; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with interment in Etlan Cemetery. Pastor Dan Yowell will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
