Melissa Kaye Horton, 59, of Marquis Road Unionville, died on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at her residence. She was born on September 24, 1962, in New York and was the daughter of the late Gerald Mabie and Gertrude Walrath Mabie.

She is survived by her husband Raymond Horton of Unionville; two sons Tyler Kitts and wife Christina of Unionville, and Cody Kitts of Orange; three grandchildren Hunter Kitts, Taylor Kitts, and Steven Kitts; and two brothers Gerald Mabie and wife Ella of Orange, and Steve Mabie and wife Marvine of Stuarts Draft.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange. Interment will be private. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
