Mary Donie Waddy, 87, of Waddy Lane, Orange, died on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at her residence. She was born on March 22, 1938, in Hyattsville, MD, and was the daughter of the late Winston Evatt and Margaret Seek Evatt. She is also predeceased by her husband Thomas Carrol Waddy.

She is survived by four daughters, Claudia Moore and husband Ricky of Mineral, Carolyn Amick of Lake Anna, Patricia "Patty" Talley and husband Charles of Lake Anna, and Grace Lynch and husband Billy of Belmont; two sons, Thomas "Bucky" Waddy and wife Adrianna of Rapidan, and Ben Waddy and wife Nicole of Lake Anna; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
