Mary Roudabush

Mary Roudabush, 77, of Gordonsville, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. 

Born on December 1, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John Howard and Viola Mallory Brookman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Scott Nathaniel Roudabush. 

Mary was an exemplary mother and human being. She possessed qualities of unconditional love and unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her family, friends and cats. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who have been blessed to know her. 

Mary is survived by her son, Brian Roudabush (Amy Beth); her daughter Amy Smith (Torry); her brother, John Brookman (Connie); and her niece, Cassie Sacre (Joe). She is also survived by her three grandchildren: Lane Smith (Katie), Chase Smith and Olivia Roudabush. In addition, she has two great- grandchildren, Knox Smith and Parker Smith; and many other close family members. 

Mary will be laid to rest at a graveside service on Wednesday, July 29th at 11:00 am at Maplewood Cemetery in Gordonsville, Virginia. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Legacy Hospice in her name.
