Mary Helen Jenkins Alfred

Mary Helen Fincham Jenkins Alfred, 93 of Reva,Va. passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Mt. View Nursing Home. She was born on September 8, 1929 to the late Noah Harrison Fincham and Ora Jenkins Fincham. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alson Jenkins and second husband Floyd Reynolds Alfred; brothers, George, Jim, and Carl Fincham; sisters, Frances Dodson, Betty Jenkins, Martha Jenkins; and son-in-law, Humie Kite.

She is survived by her daughters, Patsy J. Jenkins of Stanardsville, Va. and Brenda Jenkins Kite of Broadway, Va.; grandchildren, Chad Figgins of Madison and Darrell Kite of Stanley; and special friend, Julia Jenkins of Stanardsville, Va.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with interment in Etlan Cemetery. Pastor Charles Clinedinst and Ministers Wayne Yowell, and Oliver Bowles will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison.
