Mary Alise Jenkins,74 of Gordonsville passed away on Sunday August 7, 2022 in Charlottesville. She was born on April 19, 1948 in Gordonsville and was the daughter of the late James and Nellie Gray Ratcliffe Garrett, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Kenneth Jenkins Sr., and brothers, Sonny and James Garrett.

She is survived by her sons, David Foster, of Louisa, Lawrence Kenneth Jenkins Jr., and wife Carmon, of Orange, Paul A. Jenkins, of Gordonsville, brothers, Robert Garrett, and wife Peggy, of Orange, Patrick Garrett, of Tappahannock, and Sherman Garrett, of Orange, a sister, Nancy Crumpler, of Highland Springs, grandchildren Amber Jenkins, Skylar Pritchett, Parker Jenkins, Ethan Foster, and Carly Jenkins.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 12, 2022 at the Preddy Funeral Home in Orange with interment in Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday August 11, 2022 from 6 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
