Mary Lea Dowell, 84, passed away on December 23, 2025, at Dogwood Village of Orange. She was born January 24, 1941, in Maryland, to the late Cecil and Cordelia Shipp. She is also predeceased by her daughter, Stacie Dowell, and her sister Ann Baciak.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Belinda McDerment of Mineral, VA; her son, Paul Clark of Charlottesville, VA; and her grandchildren, Justin Dowell, Carmella Dowell, Brandon Dowell, Brian McDerment Jr., Jasmine Dowell, Chloe Dowell, and Adam Clark.
A private burial will be held on Friday, December 26, at 10 AM, at Graham Cemetery, 14191 Constitution Highway, Orange, VA, 22960.
