Marion Virginia Knighting 85, of Banco passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 in the Dogwood Village of Orange. Born October 14, 1936     in Madison she was the daughter of the late James Howard Lloyd and Elsie Jane Broyles Lloyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Casper Knighting and a sister, Lula C. Corbin.

She is survived by four sons, Gregory H. Knighting and friend, Denise, Jeffrey S. Knighting and wife, Judy, Donald S. Knighting and wife, Carol and Joseph A. Knighting and wife Connie, one brother, James D. Lloyd, two sisters, Barbara L. Corbin and Debbie E. Jenkins and a granddaughter, Stacey D. Gough and husband, Jayson.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home conducted by Pastors Bill Dennis and Archie Seale. The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral Home. Interment will be in Criglersville Cemetery.
