Maggie Rebecca Lloyd, 95, of Orange, VA passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, in Orange. She was born on November 5, 1929, in Somerset, VA and was the daughter of the late Reginald T. and Virginia Garton Lutz. She was also preceded in death by her son, Wayne Ellis Lloyd, brothers, Charles Irvin Lutz and Reginald Edward Lutz, nephews, Charles "Skeeter" Lutz, and Keith Lutz, and a sister-in-law, Jane Lutz. She was also a member of Zion Baptist Church.
She is survived by her grandson, Brian Ellis Lloyd, a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Grace Lloyd, nieces, Debbie Brown and husband Jerry, Kim Foster and husband Mike, Ramona Wood and husband Steve, Teresa Lutz, Vonnie Lutz Page and husband Mike, a nephew, Neal E. Lutz and wife Rhonda, and a sister-in-law, Thelma S. Lutz.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 2:30 PM from the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with burial to follow in Graham Cemetery. Rev. John Hodgen will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family with arrangements.
