Mabel Lean Mullins

Mabel Lean Mullins, 88 of Orange, VA, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at her residence. She was born March 18, 1937, to the late Sylvin D Green and Icy Mae Green. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ersil Gordie Mullins; daughter, Josie Faye Mullins; brother, William Green; and sister, Judy Lester.

She is survived by her daughters, Rosezetta (Ricky) Singleton of Front Royal, Lesia (Myron) Long of Capon Bridge, WVA, Angela (Mike) Mahieu of Mineral, Sherrie (Jeff) Short also of Mineral; son, Jerry (Wanda) Mullins of Orange; brothers, Frank Green, Glen (Cindy) Green, Tom (Jean) Green all of Wise, VA; sister, Edith Dotson of Pound; fifteen grandchildren; thirty three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Preddy Funeral Chapel in Orange with Pastor Justin Blackwell and Rev. Jerry Mullins officiating. Interment will follow at Walkers Chapel in Madison. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.
