Lois Virginia Cave Hurt, 78, of Banco, passed away on September 1, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on February 14, 1948, to the late Walter Lee Cave and Gertie Blanche Cave. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Lee Hurt, and her son, Randolph Hurt.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Yowell, and husband, Glenn; and Amy Hurst and husband, Joe; sons, Rex Hurt and wife, Becky, and Adam Hurt and wife, Jessica; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Hurt; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison, with Pastor Donnie Sherfey officiating. Interment will be in Criglersville Cemetery.
