Linda Louise Welling

Linda Louise Welling, 75, of Madison, Virginia passed away on December 20, 2025 at home with her daughter Wendy Weakley by her side. She was born in Washington DC June 2, 1950 of the late James and Virginia Serroka. She is survived by her siblings, James Serroka (Dolores), Catherine Morse (Charles), and Dale Serroka (Karen); daughter, Wendy Weakley, grandchildren, Toni Lam, Tyler Weakley; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Lam and Emily Lam. Also a large extended family of cousins, nephews and nieces.

Linda grew up in Washington DC, and Prince Georges county Maryland. While living in Virginia she worked for the Federal Government in a variety of positions. In the late 1990’s she suffered a disabling stroke. Her parents and daughter watched over her at this point in time in Madison, Virginia. She had the will to survive and thrive for many years in spite of her impairment. Some of her favorite things were to shop at Walmart or the Dollar Store, and she always treasured the companionship of her cats. She will be remembered as a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
