Lewis Franklin Lacy, Jr.

Lewis Franklin Lacy, Jr. of Aroda, Va., passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at his home. He was born on August 8, 1940, to the late Lewis Franklin Lacy, Sr. and Jessie Earle Yowell Lacy. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dave Wood Lacy.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Mae Weaver Lacy; daughters, Gale Lacy Harris of Pratts, Karen Elaine Lacy of Radiant, Gwendolyn Lacy (Mark) of Barboursville; sons, Lewis Franklin Lacy, III of Aroda, David Al Lacy and Sue Coates of Aroda; grandchildren, Justin Clarke (Rachel), April Dawn Harris, Ally Wallace (Zack), Rachael Gunn (Eddie), Rachel Gunn (Eddie), Jennifer Lamb, and Jessi Harris (Nick).

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Lacy Family Cemetery, 1259 Lost Mountain Road, Aroda, Va. 22709. Pastor Damon Myers will officiate.

Preddy Funeral Home in Madison is in charge of arrangements.
