Lewis "Buck" Edward Taylor

Lewis "Buck" Taylor, 62, of Rochelle passed away Friday, November 10, 2023, in Inova Loudon Hospital, Leesburg, VA. He was born March 15, 1961, in Charlottesville, VA to the late Owen Shirley Taylor and Frances Marie Taylor. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Onie Taylor, sister, Shirley Taylor, brothers, Owen "Fuzzy" Taylor and Bruce Taylor, aunt, Ruth Shifflett, and sister-in-law, Dawn Taylor.

He is survived by sister, Brenda Maupin and husband Charles of Ruckersville, brother, Tommy Taylor of Madison and aunts Margaret Sue Reynolds and Linda Freeman, both of Rochelle, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Buck enjoyed being outside, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Every holiday, we all knew we would get that special call from Buck to wish us a Happy Holiday or birthday. He loved living in "Bucks Cottage" and caring for Jack and Teacup his beloved pets. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends but remembered forever.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Madison County Sheriff's Office and EMS crews who responded and aided, as well as Rod and Troy Shelton.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Wolftown Pentecostal Chapel, in Wolftown, Virginia, with Jeff Shifflett officiating.
