In Loving Memory of Julia “Julie” Cruthirds Klumpp
May 5, 1957 – November 2, 2026
Julia “Julie” Cruthirds Klumpp, 69, of Ruckersville, Virginia, passed away surrounded by family at her home on Monday, November 2, 2026.
Born on May 5, 1957, Julie was the daughter of the late Armond Wilson Cruthirds and Eunice Estelle Bosarge Cruthirds.
She was a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, sister, and friend. While her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain a lasting part of their lives.
Julie graduated from McGill-Toolen High School in Mobile, Alabama, in 1975. She devoted many fulfilling years to teaching preschool, where her nurturing spirit and love for children made a lasting impact on the young lives she touched. Her passion for helping others continued throughout her career as she served her community through various roles with the Department of Social Services.
Outside of her professional life, Julie had a wonderful creative spirit and a love for life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed expressing her creativity through arts and crafts, making memories with her children and grandchildren, and spending time by the water, a place that brought her peace and happiness.
Above all, Julie’s greatest legacy is the family she leaves behind. Her love lives on through her husband of 49 years, John Robert Klumpp; her four daughters, Jessica Klumpp Healy (Stephen), Lauren Elizabeth Valentine (Daniel), Julia Celeste Turnbull (Evan), and Anna Leigh Green (Morgan); and her seven beloved grandchildren, Ciarán John Healy, Finn Stephen Healy, Clara Cait Turnbull, Alec Evan Turnbull, Cole Robert Turnbull, Kenna Celeste Turnbull, and Atlas Skye Valentine.
She is survived by her loving siblings, Kathleen Marie Stokes, Valerie Jean Cieslinski, and George Eugene Cruthirds. She was preceded in death by her beloved siblings, Armond Joseph Cruthirds, Carol Ann Smith, and Debra Jean Cruthirds.
Julie will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
