Joyce A. Eddins

Joyce A. Eddins died on October 11, 2024 at her home 1205 Pelican Drive in New Bern, NC at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Florine Athearn and also her sister and her husband Willene and Kenneth Nichols. Her husband of 72 years, Edward Eddins, preceded her in September 2021.

Her surviving children and spouses are Beth and Brian McDowell of New Bern NC and also Bob and Patty Eddins of Lantana FL. She also has two grandchildren, William Eddins of Winchester VA and Robert Eddins of Ruckersville VA.

She will be laid to rest at Mt. Carmel Cemetery located in Haywood, VA on April 5 at 10:00 am.
