Joyce Ann Conley

Joyce Ann Conley went to be with the Lord at 4:45 AM August 5, 2026.

She passed away peacefully with her family in Crozet, Virginia.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, James K. Conley and Thomas Henry Harris.

She is also preceded in death by her parents, Manis Shifflett and Anna Shifflett;

siblings Bertha Morris, Mattie Morris, Elizabeth Morris, Dorothy Shifflett, Cennie Shifflett, Betty Marshall, Ruby Carver, Lena Hunt, James Harold; and her faithful pet “Lucy”.

She is survived by her brother Manis “Junior” Shifflett; children, Thomas H Harris (Gail Harris), Libby A Dale (Gary Dale). Dennis W Harris (Tracy Harris). She is also survived by her stepson, Kenneth, Wayne Conley (Debra Conley); grandchildren,

Waverly T Harris, Travis W Harris, Andrew L Dale, Heather M Walton, Matthew Harris, Mark Harris, Ashley Harris, Josh Harris; great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

The family would like to give their thanks to Shelby Morris and Theresa Shifflett for the kindness they showed to their mother through her sickness. They would also like to give special thanks to Gary and Libby Dale for taking their mother into their home and caring for her during this time.
