Joseph Lee Snow

Joseph Lee Snow, 84 of Stanardsville, Va., passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Charlottesville.  He was born on July 31, 1939, to the late Reuben Snow and Emma Lam Snow.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Arlene Lamb Snow; brothers, Jonah, Otis, Ernest and Elmer Snow, Lertie, Willie, and Welford Breeden; sisters, Lillian Snow, Pansy Baugher, Peggy Clarkson, and Katherine Morris.

He worked many years as a carpenter.  He loved horseback riding and working in his garden.

He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Lamb and Teresa Lamb; sisters, Rozelia Shifflett and Nellie Carver; grandchildren, Jason Lamb, Brandi Speh (John), Bradley Lamb; great-grandchildren, Bryce Lamb, Piper Lamb, Adriana Speh, and Alora Speh.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison, Va.  Pastor Glen Shifflett will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
