John Ellis Murray, 78 of Crozet, died Saturday May 7, 2022 at the University of Virginia Hospital. Born June 25, 1943 in Charlottesville, he was the son of the late Corene Fisher. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Fisher. Mr. Murray was retired from Luck Stone in Charlottesville.

He is survived by his daughter, Artelia Davis of Ruckersville, a granddaughter, Jada Davis of Norfolk and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday May 16, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville. Interment will be private.
