John Robert Gray

John Robert Gray, 84, of Gordonsville, Virginia, passed on Thursday, August 15, 2024.

John was born on August 2, 1940, to Vivian Lee Gray and William Clarence Gray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Short, brother William Gray "Bill", and son Timothy William Gray "Tim".

He is survived by his sons, John Michael Gray of Virginia and Scott Matthew Gray of Florida; his Step-son Larry Taylor; his step-daughter, Marsha Livesey; his sister, Dorothy Patricia Weber "Sis", of Virgnia; his grandkids, Vivian Elizabeth Gray of Virginia, Tyler Matthew Gray of Florida, Morgan Ellen Gray of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

John loved watching the Redskins, Nationals, and Orioles, and spent time coaching local little league teams.

A special thank you to Meghan Boswell, John's step-granddaughter, for all of her kindness and attention to John and his beloved dog Lucy. John was very proud of Meghan.
